Acceptable File Formats

PDF, EPS, PSD, JPG, and TIF
We can accept native files from the following programs:
+ Adobe Acrobat Document (.pdf) (preferred)
+ Adobe Illustrator Artwork (.ai or .eps) (preferred)
+ Adobe Photoshop Image (.psd) (preferred)
+ Adobe InDesign (.1ndd)
+ Adobe PageMaker (.pmd)
+ Microsoft Publisher (.pub)
+ Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt)
+ Microsoft Word (.doc)
+ QuarkXpress (.qxd)

Checklist:
• Resolution must be at least 300 dpi.
• Color mode must be set to CMYK, 8 bit color.
• Gradients must not be set below 10%
• Bleeds must be 1/8 inch on each edge.
• Borders must be at least 1/4 inch.
• Fonts must be outlined.
• Text must be at least 1/8 inch inside of the cut line on all sides.
• Flatten all layers.
Photoshop®
* Resolution should be set for 300 dpi at the size of the piece.
* Save files as "JPEG" or "TIF" with Maximum quality.
* Submit in CMYK colormode.

Adobe Illustrator®
* In Illustrator "Select All" and go to the "Type" menu selection and
"Create Outlines", All text within files must be converted to outlines
with the outline set to zero to eliminate the need for fonts.
* Save file as Illustrator EPS with placed images included.
* Open Illustrator EPS file into Photoshop.
* In Photoshop set resolution to 300 dpi and mode to CMYK.
* Save files as "JPEG" or "TIF" with Maximum quality.
Quark Express®
* From the file menu in Quark select:
"Save page as EPS..."
* Name the file and press "Save".
* Open the Quark EPS file into Adobe Illustrator ”Select All"
and go to the "Type" menu selection and "Create Outlines".
All text on files must be converted to outlines with the outline
set to zero to eliminate the need for fonts.
* Save file as Illustrator EPS with placed images included.
* Open Illustrator EPS file into Photoshop.
* In Photoshop set resolution to 300 dpi and mode to CMYK.
* Save files as "JPEG" or "TIF" with Maximum quality.
